The Christmas coin set
The Christmas coin set (the last of its kind) rounds off Swissmint's programme of issues for 2022. It combines the 2022 circulation coins with a shiny Christmas medal. The medal depicts a trumpet-blowing angel and snow stars on the front, and the star of Bethlehem on the reverse.

Münze Deutschland's 25-euro collector's coin "Herrnhuter Stern" appears in the "Christmas" series. Based on the biblical tradition of the wise men from the East, who are shown the way to Bethlehem by the star. It has its origins in the Moravian Church in Herrnhut, which was founded in 1727. There, in a joint effort, the star is created, which - glowing from within - spreads its shine and is used worldwide as an Advent star.
