The American Silver Eagle coin is one of the most popular bullion coins in the world, and has been available since 1986. On its 35th anniversary, the US Mint will release a new design for the obverse side known as Type 2. The new design is the first update to the coin in it’s entire run of 35 years.

On the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Monnaie de Paris pays tribute to these renowned international competitions through a collection honouring sport, its value, the athletes but also the host country's heritage. Olympism and Paralympism are celebrated.

The legends of the lost treasures inspired the Lithuanian Mint to create the ‘Missing Treasures’ coin series. The series consists of the coins signifying unique legends, myths and stories shrouded in mystery. The first of these, ‘The Treasure of the Aztec’, tells the story of the gold of an extinct civilisation, captured by pirates and stored in an ancient Aztec temple.
