Coiniverse introduces digital ownership verification for physical coins
The partnership between Coiniverse and Trust2Safe gives coin collectors and mints access to a turnkey solution for creating an NFT of their new and existing coins.
Helsinki, Finland – April 29, 2024 - Coiniverse Ltd, the developer of the Coiniverse coin collecting app, and Trust2Safe Ltd, an established technology company in digital ownership verification solutions, have teamed up to introduce a proprietary NFT-based solution for verifying digital ownership of physical coins.
In a significant industry development, Coiniverse has secured exclusive rights to utilize this technology within the coin collecting industry, a move aimed at providing additional security and transparency for collectors.
Currently, this innovative technology is already in use for coins sold directly from the Coiniverse Shop within the app. Coiniverse also plans to offer the technology separately for both mints and individual coin collectors, creating digital proof of their coins and their ownership. This digital proof can be transferred to the new owner when a coin is sold or swapped, easing the verification process and aiming to reduce numismatic crime.
For mints, the technology offers the potential to use a turnkey service to enable digital proof for the coins minted and sold, providing an extra layer of security and transparency throughout the coin's life.
